" I really like Scarpa's new Rebel range. I have used the Ultra's in Iceland for climbing ice in the winter, the Carbons for climbing and BASE jumping on the Eiger and now I spent two weeks in the Yukon and North West Territories in Canada with the Rebel Lites. For Spring and Summer use the lites are now my number one choice for walking, scrambling and BASE jumping. Low volume in the forefoot, light and flexible they come into their own on rock and steep sided faces. The Schoeler & neoprene Sock Fit gives comfort and protection over the top of the foot, and the ankle flexibility is amazing. Brilliant for climbing on rock, even when its raining, I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a new walking boot especially good for scrambling and summer alpine terrain. I would not climb in  them with crampons on although you can use with a C2 crampon to move quickly across glacial terrain. The Goretex membrane is an additional bonus keeping your feet dry crossing marshy ground and wet grass. They are definitely the best Spring and Summer boot I have used before. Thanks Ueli ! "
