Generator WMN
Born out of two years of intense development, the Generator Women’s and its Mid-cut counterpart offer two premium solutions to the rigours of intense multi-pitch face and crack climbing.
While both iterations use an FGW support system - founded on the principles of balanced performance through prolonged use - that of the low cut version is constructed with a little more tension than that of the Mid-cut, giving increased edging support and precision, particularly on tiny footholds such as crystals and micro edges. This design tweak makes the shoe the option for long routes where face and slab climbing is the predominant style. The Mid-cut’s marginally lesser tension and luxurious ankle support/protection, make it the go-to model for crack climbing and/or pure all-day comfort.
Standard in our premium performance models, a multi-panel complex construction provides for a contoured fit, zero hot spots and controlled stretch, while the M70 randing offers adaptability of fit and improved grip in cracks. Finally, our PAF heel system (designed to disperse pressure to the achilles) and a panelled tongue (which provides padding and durability in all the right places) further enhance overall comfort during long days on the rock.
