Below is a review by an up and coming climber. He's been testing a pair of our Scarpa Visions for a wee while and this is what he thinks... |

Hi there. My name is Tom Williams. Through Dave Billington at the North West Face i was given a pair of climbing shoes. The shoes i chose were the Vision lace-ups. On the whole I thought the shoes were exeeceded my expectations. They were very good on steep, more technical roots. There performance were exceptional. Even though they are aimed at Trad climbing. I found these shoes very good indoors; on the indoor bouldering the toe was spot on and on indoor leads they were very good again. Indoors i lead a 7c+ with them and bouldered around v7/v8. I am currently working on a v10 at the North West Face. Usually i lead around 7b+ and boulder around v7/v8 again. As of yet i have been unable test them outside but as the weather gets better i am planning a few trips to the Peak District etc. So i will email you again and let you know how i get on. The only problem i have found with the visions and most of the Scarpa range is that they are a very wide fitting shoe. I am not alone in this decision though, other people i have spoke to agree with me. However on the whole I have found the Visions exceptional and a delight to climb on. Hope you have found this useful and in the future i would be more than happy to test more shoes or shoes that you allocatate.
Thanks very much Tom Williams
