Adam Watson

My name is Adam Watson and I have been climbing for about 15 years, I was very lucky to have parents that enjoyed climbing and was able to go to font at a young age for family holidays. At the age of 16 I was selected for the British Junior team and had the opportunity to climbing and compete in Europe. At the moment I am on the British Bouldering Team which is helping me improve greatly, plus working at Climb Newcastle allows me to use the training facilities on my breaks. Currently I am training for a few trips to Fontainebleau which is without doubt my favourite place to climb on the planet. I love the style there and the amazing flowstone which is lovely on your skin plus there is so much rock you would never get bored. I am looking forward to getting out in the county as well and have a big tick list I'm working through very slowly, it is an incredible place to climb with a lot of stunning lines and sometimes questionable rock. This year I plan to do a few world cup events which I am very exited about as it lets me compete against the best in the world.
