I started climbing when I was thirteen and have been lucky enough to travel to loads of cool places, meet tonnes of awesome people, do countless incredible routes and maintain enough psyche to keep pushing my limits. Three years ago I became a full time climber and now manage to work only to fund trips, thanks to my sponsors. Whether it be Scotland, France, Canada, New Zealand, or anywhere else, I’m always looking for the adventure that climbing offers.
I’ve always been inspired by people pioneering new routes in the mountains, whether it be big, remote Alpine faces or shorter technical test- pieces in Scotland. I spent most of the2010/2011 winter season living out of my car, travelling Scotland and climbing as many classic hard lines as possible. Some of my personal highlights included putting up the first ascent of To Those Who Wait on Ben Nevis, making the third ascent of The Hurting in the Cairngorms, and making the most of the amazing crags we have on offer with good friends.
Who knows what the future will bring; as long as I can keep pushing my limits, having a laugh with friends, and exploring new places, the adventure will continue and the routes will get climbed!
