"I am competent across all mountain disciplines- jack of all trades.

Highlights in the last 5 years or so include:

The Cad, E6, Dame du Lac, WI6, Central Grooves, Scottish VII, Eiger 1938 Route, guiding Cho Oyu, 8201m, guiding Ran Fiennes on the Eiger, Bob Graham round on 1st January 2011, becoming UK Ultrarunning Champion 2010. I am the only practising doctor in the UK qualified as an IFMGA Mountain Guide. I recently completed a Diploma in Mountain Medicine.

I am psyched to continue improving at all mountain disciplines, and am planning to ski race full time winter 2012/13 in preparation for the 2013 World Ski Mountaineering Championships, as well as maintaining a healthy diet of fell running, trad climbing and mountaineering in the meantime. I am hoping to give some back too, and am currently applying for voluntary posts as a doctor in the Khumbu next autumn".
