Mountain Feet Oldham 01616203900
Mountainfeet enjoy an excellent relationship with their Mountain Boot Company representative Glyn Padget who makes regular calls on all his specialist retailers to keep them briefed of the latest developments at Scarpa. Mountainfeet’s most popular Scarpa boot is the perennial Ranger GTX, closely followed by the Zero Gravity range. Si is proud to still have a pair of the original SL’s from 1983 in full working order – they now have pride of place in the shop window to show the value of boot care products such as Scarpa HS12 Cream and some TLC…
Mountainfeet used to be known as Paul Braithwaite Outdoor Sports but the owner, Si Taylor, changed the name recently to reflect the shop’s increasing specialism in fitting footwear and knowledge of foot function. The shop has enjoyed a long relationship with Scarpa dating back to the 1980’s and value the high quality and attention to detail that goes into their superb footwear. The variety of different lasts utilised by Scarpa means that they are an essential footwear range in any specialist mountain shop. All three full time staff at Mountainfeet have an expert knowledge of both footwear and the foot itself along with the problems that can hinder obtaining a good fit. As part of the service, Mountainfeet offer thorough analysis of both a customers needs and their feet based on a fitting process developed by themselves. The shop also works closely with both a local podiatrist and a chiropractor in order that any issues spotted by the shop that need specialist advice can be referred accordingly.
