The new model incorporates Scarpa’s® new innovative ActivFit technology
Combining four elements; last, sole, ergonomic design and footbed, ActivFit provides a new level of instant, out of the box comfort and performance. Built on the superb new BD last the foot will stay continually supported and secure, aided by the new auto fit foam inserts in the heel area. Underfoot the Biometric sole provides the state of the art in sole technology, featuring dual density PU, produced in a highly scientific environment to maintain the highest performance and quality standards from the material. The midsole is reinforced with an additional moulded thermo plastic shank (TPU) and finished with the Vibram outsole.
The Scarpa® SL is the definitive hill walking boot which will perform well on any rugged terrain throughout the year.

THE NEW ACTIVFIT PROGRAM HAS BEEN IN DEVELOPMENT FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN ORDER TO PERFECT THE TECHNOLOGY. Combining five specific areas; Last, Sole, Ergonomic Design and Footbed, defining a new standard in instant comfort. The Kinesis Tech is beefed up version of the Kinesis. It's a great 3-4 season season boot which boasts a GTX lining, protective rubber rand and a brand new Scarpa® last. The BD last has been formulated for the male foot and provides maximum foot hold and allows greater toe volume and increased fit, allowing a good foot rolling action for ease of forward propulsion and comfort. While the new heel design ensures the foot is locked into place for optimal fit and performance. The ActivFit technology also gives the Kinesis Tech an ultra fast speed lacing system which let’s you cinch in the boot quickly from the toe to the top, auto fit foam padding that wraps the ankle and a V-Flex collar around the top of the boot to provide maximum freedom of movement.

The "HEEL TENSION SYSTEM" is an innovative system applied to the heel area of the upper part of the boot. It offers great stability and adaptability to the severe stress derived from steep routes.
The "ANKLE PADDING SYSTEM" is made of a special "MEMORY FOAM" which allows the uppers to mould to the shape of the foot. This technical solution is very light and breathable, it keeps its dynamic memory in terms of last and thickness so it recovers its original shape after every use.
The AUTOFIT COLLAR, thanks to the ergonomic design of the collar and to the special padding, ensures the maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, reducing the impact stress that rests on the Achilles and malleous area. Great performance and comfort on any terrain.
