Ideally suited to hill, mountain and glacier walking on rugged terrain and the occasional easier alpine and UK winter climb. The Scarpa® Manta excels in winter walking, where crampons are used for extended periods.
Close to a staggering 10% weight loss has been achieved by moving to the new Vibram Jorasses sole unit and pro-fiber midsole, in turn the boot has been lowered, making it more dexterous and stable underfoot. Despite the weight reduction we have been able to add a generous rubber rand, which adds protection and abrasion resistance.
The Last changes to DLL, as used on the Mirage, a form that has proven to be exceptionally comfortable and universal in its fitting ability.
