The Charmoz is designed as a lightweight modern winter mountaineering boot.

The Charmoz is designed as a technical and precise mountain boot, from the way it fits through to its construction. The fully synthetic microtech upper is designed to be highly durable yet still very light, and the H-Dry membrane is directly laminated to the upper for superior weather protection and minimal water absorption. The NAG last shape is low volume and close fitting for climbing precision and this works in conjunction with the lacing down to the toe, for a bespoke, close fit.

The Vibram Pentax Precision XT sole unit is ideal for technical mountaineering, with a durable mont rubber compound and lugs spaced for mechanical grip, with a climbing zone for scrambling and via ferrata. The stiff pro-fibre XT midsole gives the Charmoz accomplished climbing ability, as well as a secure mount for modern C2 crampons.

The fastening system that extends towards the toe is divided into two sections. The lower section is integrated into the upper to allow you to adjust the fit. The upper section has a lace-locking hook that divides the fastening tension areas and hooks to consistently and progressively wrap the ankle, for a comfortable and secure fit.
