I have pretty much climbed for most of my life, it started with my cot an every other part of the house. When I was around 5 my dad took me to Coombs crag at Armathwaite near Carlisle which was my first taste of actual rock climbing and since then I have been hooked. When I was 6 I discovered bouldering at Eden Rock in Carlisle where I quickly joined the youth team and began competing when I was 7 and I haven't stopped since!
Currently, I am a member of the GB National Development squad and I plan to keep competing nationally and internationally as long as possible with my ultimate goal being to compete in the Olympics.
Although I enjoy competing, I do still love climbing in real rock outdoors. I have climbed on various areas around the UK, bouldered in Fontainbleau which is amazing, but I think the coolest place I've climbed so far is in the Jungle near Chaing Mai in Northern Thailand, with my dad at a group of crags called Crazy Horse, where i had to deal with mosquitoes, biting ants, snake’s and wasps the size of a finger….a bit different but I would love to go back someday.
I am currently in year 9 at school and I'm still deciding on my options for GCSE’s but whatever I end up doing, I'm sure climbing will always be a big part of my life.

I am really good progress on “Predator” at Malham Cove graded 8b
I have been on the GB national development squad for 2 years and I have made the podium in many national events. Internationally I have had sine good results including a 1st place in a boulder comp in Holland in 2019 and at the end of the 2019 competition season I was ranked No.1 in Britain in my age group. “Grand Opera 7C+ boulder” at the Bowderstone, Lake District “Chiselling the Dragon 7C sport route”at Malham cove, 2nd attempt.
I love my Instinct VS-R as I wear them for pretty much everything! I am also really looking forward to trying the Furia Air. You will always find me in my SCARPA hoodie, I pretty much live in them, they are super comfy!
