Thanks to its characteristics of lightness and strength, the carbon fibre has become the material of excellence for the realization of ski mountaineering race boots. Carbon fibre is a synthetic material reinforced made of filaments that generally are soaked around a resin, which keeps them in place and protects them and with which we create what we call a resistant and light composite material. Among its features, in addition to the above-mentioned lightness and strength, we find a low density, discrete flameproof properties, resistance chemical effects and temperature changes, as well as capacity of thermal insulation.
