Description

Born out of two years of intense development, the Generator Mid and its low cut counterpart offer two premium solutions to the rigours of intense multi-pitch crack and face climbing.

While both iterations use an FG support system - founded on the principles of balanced performance through prolonged use - that of the Mid cut version is constructed with a little less tension than that of the low cut. This, in partnership with luxurious ankle support/protection, make it the go-to model for sustained crack climbing and/or pure all-day comfort. The low cut’s marginally higher tension provides increased support, particularly on tiny footholds, giving it the edge (pun intended!) in the realm of pure face and slab climbing.

Standard in our premium performance models, a multi-panel complex construction provides for a contoured fit, zero hot spots and controlled stretch, while the M70 randing offers adaptability of fit and improved grip in cracks. Finally, our PAF heel system (designed to disperse pressure to the achilles) and a panelled tongue (which provides padding and durability in all the right places) further enhance overall comfort during long days on the rock.

PAF SYSTEM

An innovative method of heel construction that improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the achilles tendon, thanks to a softer rubber “bridge” that connects the two flaps of the tension system, promoting optimal adaptation to the shape of the foot. The number of holes on the rubber indicates the level of tension: 1 hole for low tension, 2 holes for medium tension, 3 holes for maximum tension.

TRI-TENSION

This system provides total support to cope with prolonged use on small supports without compromising flexibility for smearing.

A rubber compound developed in collaboration with Davos®, designed to offer an optimal balance between adaptability and containment. With a Shore A rating of 70, it is ideal for containment bands and strategic applications on the upper.

VIBRAM XS EDGE RUBBER

A compound developed to provide maximum support and allow for precise weight distribution, even on the smallest holds. Its high resistance to plastic deformation enables it to maintain stability and shape, even after repeated stress, offering reliable performance in both hot and cold conditions.
