DESIGNED FOR REBUILDING
From 5 to 10 February 2021, Sean Villanueva completed a solo crossing of all the peaks of the Fitz Roy massif.

Reduce, recycle, reuse, regenerate, repair, resole. SCARPA designs to make it possible. It is not magic, resoling and repairability arise from the construction of the boot and climbing shoes. It is attention to detail from the very beginning.
OUR CHALLENGE
Emotions - the spirit of the mountains - arise from the earth, by contact, through the soles and the feet. The soul of a worn shoe encloses the peaks climbed and the routes traveled, as well as the emotions we experience.
The dust, the sun, the earth and the rocks ruin, change, bind memories to our heart as the laces fray and the upper fades.
Extending the life of products is the best way we have to take care of the environment, by reducing resource consumption and waste production. That's why we build our products so they can be resoled.
How to match performance with sustainability? With quality materials, glues and rubbers, as well as cutting-edge technologies and designs.
Creating a shoe performs and is durable is our goal, our challenge. To be durable, a shoe must be strong, resistant and resolable. Resole your hiking boots or climbing shoes, what we want is to accompany you over the years in all your adventures.

Want you boots or shoes repaired or resoled?
Our Official resolers use only original materials provided by SCARPA, are trained and equipped with all the tools needed to resole a shoe without sacrificing performance.

Maintenace and Care
Careful maintenance of your hiking boot will prolong their life:
- Remove the insole, which can be washed and dried separately;
- Clean the shoes after each use, using warm water and a soft brush or cloth;
- Fill the shoes with newspaper and leave to dry in a well-ventilated place at room temperature;
- Do not expose the shoes to direct sunlight or heat sources such as radiators or stoves. Damp leather is extremely sensitive and burns easily (the leather may harden and crack);
- Clean lacing hooks and loops regularly to prevent any corrosion;
- Treat leather shoes regularly with a specific waterproofing product, ensuring this is done when the leather is damp and the pores are open, allowing better absorption.
- If your shoes are lined with leather, wipe the inside with a damp cloth after each use.
