Grilamid BIO® is part of Ems-Grivory’s complete line of GREENLINE bio-based polyamides. This polymer with a high BIO content guarantees a significant reduction in CO2 emissions while maintaining its main properties of stiffness and elasticity and high impact unaltered. In fact, it  derives from the synthesis of castor oil. The castor plant does not compete with food crops for the land and is grown in semi-arid areas India, China, Brazil). It is, therefore, an excellent alternative to polymers derived from fossil sources and is completely recyclable and non-biodegradable.
