Description

The SCARPA Arpia LV is a versatile, modern climbing shoe which can be worn tightly, yet in comfort. LV provides lower volume than the standard Arpia. It combines a precision, low profile toe box and deep heel with SCARPA's proprietary M50 randing, to provide an adaptable performance fit which will accommodate a range of foot shapes.

The comfort performance of the Arpia LV is achieved in part, by the marginally asymmetric profile and TA (Toe-Abductor) tension system working in tandem to cleverly provide a strong foot position without overly working/deforming the flexor muscles at the base of the foot. A slight downturned camber makes this a great shoe on steeper terrain - perfect for high angled roofs and training boards - while conversely, the reactive midsole will smear well when the foot is driven into volumes, macros or smears. Opposing double Velcro straps further secure the foot and allow for quick and easy closure.

With its technical yet forgiving fit, balanced support and sensitivity combined with a Vibram XS Grip2 outsole, the Arpia LV makes for a unique all-round performer at a great price.

M50 Rubber

The softest rubber compound in our range, designed to provide maximum adaptability to the shape of the foot and toes. Developed in collaboration with Davos®, it has a Shore A rating of 50, offering a high wrapping ability. Its features make it particularly suitable for the SRT system, toe cap coverings, and targeted applications on the upper.

VIBRAM XS GRIP2 RUBBER

The natural evolution of the Vibram® XS GRIP compound, widely used by world-class athletes in bouldering. Featuring significantly improved grip, it offers an excellent level of compactness, ideal for working on edges and moderately inclined holds. It also ensures consistent performance in all temperatures. It is the recommended choice for applications that require the maximum level of adhesion.
