Greg Boswell - SCARPA UK

Greg Boswell

I started climbing over a decade ago now, and have been lucky enough to travel to loads of cool places along the way. I've met tonnes of awesome people, done countless incredible routes and maintained enough psych to help me to keep pushing my limits. Since I became a sponsored climber I've managed to work only when I need to, and thanks to the help from my sponsors, I've managed to put my money into traveling to some amazing places. Whether it be Scotland, France, Canada, Alaska, or anywhere else across the globe, I’m always looking for the adventure that climbing offers.

I’ve always been inspired by people pioneering new routes in the mountains, whether it be big, remote Alpine faces or shorter technical test- pieces in Scotland. I spent most of the 2010/2011 winter season living out of my car, traveling Scotland and climbing as many classic hard lines as possible. I realised then that new routing in winter was where my passion lies, and I've been following that dream ever since.

Peebles,Scottish Borders.

Winter mixed climbing but I like to dabble in most mountain sports, especially mountain biking and running.

I've climbed some of the worlds hardest mixed climbs, including putting up some of my own. Some of my highlights would include:        Beastiality (Alaksa), Big alpine style route on the Bears Tooth. First Ascent | Lipton WI7 (Norway) - Onsight Illuminati M11+/WI6+ (Italy) - Redpoint | Rocket Man M7+ / WI5+ (Canada) - Onsight | Banana Wall XII/12 (Scotland) - Ground Up, First Ascent | Greatest Show on Earth X/10 (Scotland) - Onsight, First Ascent | The Hurting XI/11 (Scotland) - Ground Up.
