Tara Hayes

I've been climbing since the age of 8 and competing since the age of 9, climbing has always been a big part of my life. At the age of 13, I was selected for the GB Climbing Team so training for competitions has always been my main focus.

When I was 18 I left home to study at university and moved to Sheffield. The volume of strong climbers around Sheffield has certainly helped me to push myself and my training to the limit and see what I can achieve. I am on the senior GB Climbing team and I also have some long-term goals for outdoor climbing so try to go on trips and out to the Peak District when possible.
