SCARPA Athlete Tom Hollins is preparing to undertake another epic challenge - this time a self supported attempt at his new Lakeland Round which features all of the Wainwrights plus all of the outlying fells.
This is a first and Tom will be attempting the challenge in May. As well as being an epic personal challenge - Tom is raising money for Airedale Charity to help raise funds for their Emergency Department.
Tom's Target is £10k - and you can donate here: Tom's Wainwright Challenge
The Challenge:
Starting at the Moot Hall in Keswick on 5th May 2026, Tom will be covering every fell described in Alfred Wainwright’s Lakeland guides, a total of 330 peaks - self supported.
This has never been done before by a runner and is a huge challenge. Good luck Tom!
