SCARPA Trail Running Team are smashing it!

September has been a great month for the SCARPA Trail Running Team with some amazing results in races and some impressive achievements from the team!

Two English Fell Champions!

We are proud to say that two members of Team SCARPA were crowned English Fell Champions - Fin Grant keeps going from strength to strength and has added the men's title to his growing list of achievements. He was also joined by the newest member of the SCARPA team Emily Cowper-Coles who took the women's title.

The English Fell Championships take place over the course of the season and include six races, two short, two medium and two long, with both Emily and Finn performing over the course of the year to take the crown.

Double Paddy Buckley Round

Dougie Zinis has completed his Double Paddy Buckley Round on Sunday 20th September in an amazing 57 hours.

The Paddy Buckley Round takes in 47 summits in Snowdonia, North Wales and covering 61 miles of tough mountain terrain. Achieving one Paddy Buckley Round is an amazing achievement but two continuous loops puts Dougie in illustrious company in the running world.

Seen by many as the toughest of the big three rounds in the UK - Dougie's attempt was made harder by the conditions, with extreme winds hitting him throughout Saturday.

Our Team Captain Carmine de Grandis has also been taking on the Paddy Buckley Round after an abandoned attempt earlier in the year - you can read all about Carmine's success here.

Seven Sisters Skyline

Over in Ireland Ed Brewer was continuing his SkyRunning adventures in the Seven Sisters Skyline race in Dongal. Battling through boggy conditions Ed took the win with a 26 minute lead over second place!

Mountain Running World Cup

Over in Poland three members of the team were racing in the Maraton Trzech Jezior. Fin Grant came in an amazing second place, Sara Willhoit finished 8th and Harry Homes came in 17th.

Amazing running from the team!
