Carmine de Grandis

Born and raised in the mountains of the Abruzzo region of Italy – Carmine now finds himself in the flat lands of Norfolk – but that doesn’t stop him sharing his love for the mountains.

Carmine is a mountain runner with a passion for building community, spreading joy and competing hard in races and challenges across the UK and Europe – proving that age is just a number.

He is the captain of the SCARPA UK Trail Running team spreading his infectious passion for running and the mountains whilst supporting the team to succeeded.

Carmine is one for a challenge – especially if it includes playing his accordion along the way. Completing the Dragon’s Back Race and National Three Peaks whilst playing music enroute and raising money for Climbers against Cancer who he is an ambassador for.
