Iain Inness

Iain Innes is a Scottish ski mountaineer, alpinist, paraglider and skyrunner based in Chamonix, where he pursues fast, human-powered adventures across the Alps.

A former alpine ski racer, he now represents Great Britain in ski mountaineering, combining racing with technical alpine objectives and hike-and-fly missions that blur the boundaries between disciplines.

Whether moving efficiently through big mountain terrain, competing internationally, or searching for new lines from summit to valley, Iain is driven by the freedom, simplicity and self-reliance that define life in the mountains.
