The 4-Quattro Pro is the lightest freeride ski boot on the market, for freeriders who can cope with any uphill and want to challenge the steepest and most demanding lines at full speed, with skis over 100mm underfoot. For being part of this category, it has been equipped with a new cuff with relevant technical and aesthetic changes, as well as the new Secure Speed Lock 4 mechanism, which provides a safe and powerful locking to face any type of downhill.

CARBON CORE SHELL PEBAX RNEW

Low-volume, made of Pebax® Rnew® sourced from renewable materials, featuring CARBON CORE technology. The overmolded carbon insert allows for direct transmission of impulses from the foot to the ski, ensuring greater precision and control even in the most demanding skiing conditions.

SKI/WALK MECHANISM

SECURE SPEED LOCK 4

The new aluminum mechanism, reinforced for freeride use, integrates a safety locking system dedicated to the descent phase. In ski position, the system ensures high rigidity, providing rear support comparable to that of alpine ski boots.

CLOSURE SYSTEM

BOOSTER STRAP PVC FREE

PVC-free dynamic stretch elastic strap, to be secured firmly for optimized performance. The cushioning provided protects the shins from impacts during descent. Additionally, it integrates RECCO technology, enabling professional rescue teams to quickly locate the skier in case of an avalanche accident.

4 BUCKLES

Four magnesium levers, lightweight and durable, designed for use even while wearing gloves. Micrometric adjustment and steel cables ensure better pressure distribution of the closure while maintaining a low weight.

INNER SHOE

4 PRO FLEX RIDE

Fully thermoformable Intuition liner, designed for optimal customization to the skier’s foot, thanks to the use of exclusive Intuition Foam. The closed-cell foam structure ensures a high level of thermal insulation. The new tongue with plastic reinforcement offers superior support during skiing and helps reduce pressure on the shin. The ORTHOLITE footbed, made from O-Term material, guarantees maximum thermal insulation.

Presa

Presa® represents the most advanced result of SCARPA's in-house Research and Development Department in the field of soles: an environment of exploration and technological innovation, where expertise, experience and scientific research blend to create high-performance solutions. Each of the Presa® soles is meticulously developed with the shoe's context of use in mind. Measurement of key performance indicators, including dry and wet grip and durability, is critical in selecting the best sole depending on the activity for which the shoe is designed.

Technical Partners

Grip Walk

Soles designed to significantly improve walking over traditional alpine ski soles while maintaining high performance and increased safety while skiing. The sole/binding interface is optimized to ensure precise transmission of impulses to the ski and accurate release, increasing both safety and control while skiing. To ensure full compatibility and optimal performance, original GripWalk bindings or 100% compatible Tour bindings, easily identified by the official logo, must be used. Standard alpine ski bindings without the GripWalk logo are not compatible.

INTUITION

Intuition liners represent the absolute benchmark in the world of thermoformable backcountry liners. Made from exclusive materials, they offer a durable, pressure-point-free fit while maintaining comfort. With excellent thermal insulation and extraordinary light weight, they ensure maximum efficiency and performance even in the most demanding conditions.

Ortholite

Advanced insole technology that significantly improves comfort, cushioning and breathability, creating a cooler, drier and more hygienic environment inside each shoe.

RECCO

The RECCO® reflector, integrated into equipment and clothing, enables professional rescuers equipped with RECCO® detectors to quickly locate a missing person, representing a global standard technology for avalanche rescue. Such a reflector requires no power, activation or maintenance and provides support to be searchable at all times. However, it does not replace personal self-rescue devices such as ARVAs. RECCO® SAR helicopter detectors allow large areas to be quickly scanned during searches for missing persons.

Greenline

The line of plant-based polyamides produced by Ems-Grivory, which includes Grilamid Bio. From a technical standpoint, these products are in no way inferior to polyamides derived from crude oil. The goal is to develop renewable raw materials with excellent properties that can make a concrete contribution to reducing environmental impact.

Designed to withstand the most extreme conditions, Pebax® elastomers are high-performance materials that have been widely used for many years in winter sports equipment. They deliver superior performance thanks to a unique combination of properties: long-lasting flexibility at low temperatures, high cold impact resistance, and excellent energy return. On average, they are 20% lighter than the most common materials. Pebax® materials bridge the gap between thermoplastics and rubber, making them the ideal choice for a wide range of sporting applications with a strong focus on performance enhancement.

Pebax Rnew

Pebax® Rnew® materials are high-performance thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) produced from renewable sources, primarily castor oil. They offer outstanding performance thanks to a unique combination of properties: long-lasting flexibility at low temperatures, high impact resistance in cold conditions, and excellent energy return. These elastomers are on average 20% lighter than commonly used materials. Pebax® Rnew® materials bridge the gap between thermoplastics and rubber, offering a sustainable solution for a wide range of performance-driven applications in the sports industry.
