Description

Returning to the range, off the back of numerous requests from some of our most technically gifted athletes, the Boostic R is a refreshed and refined reboot of the first incarnation of the model.

On the construction front, we see a return to a highly adaptable combination upper, featuring both microfibre and 2mm suede. However this time a more ecological sound EcoSuede is used, which is processed utilising metal free tanning agents. Twin opposing Velcro straps and a powerful V-tension support system, harness the upper to a full length 1.4mm midsole and 4mm full-length Vibram XS Edge outsole - to create the ultimate edging machine.

The complex multi panel construction, incredible support and a laser precise FV last make for the ultimate face climbing and performance multi-pitch and big wall shoe.

Multi-panel (5) complex construction for improved fit, zero hot spots and controlled stretch.

TENSION

V-Tension active randing system keeps the shape of the shoe over its life. It works with the full sole unit to keep the power focused on the big toe while supporting the arch and forefoot.

MIDSOLE

A curved 1 mm Flexan insert, shaped to provide support and sensitivity.

IT CAN BE RESOLED

This shoe can be resolved at one of the official SCARPA resole shops. We recommend resoling before the wear and tear is excessive to preserve performance and prolong the life of your shoe or boot. Check out the full list of authorized centers on the store locator.

V-TENSION

The system that supports the sole and anterior area of the foot, increasing the power of support on the toes. Working in combination with a full-length sole, it requires no back support. It works on the same principle as X-Tension, keeping the foot in place on even the smallest supports.
