Description

The Ribelle is a modern hybrid mountain walking boot, designed for fast moving mountain walking, Via Ferrata and backpacking with heavy loads or at altitude. Compatible with C2 (semi-automatic) crampons with a flex bar.

The Ribelle HD has a soft supple suede upper with thermos-embossing, giving a perfect fit and support. The H-Dry waterproof membrane is directly laminated to the upper, giving superior weather protection and a very precise fit. The upper is wrapped in a PU Tech layer, shielding the upper and midsole from rocks and scrapes.

The Ribelle family are a next generation of boots designed to allow people to move faster than conventional mountain boots. Core to this is the new ARG last shape, which has low volume technical precision, but with a noticeable toe spring, giving a much more natural and fluid gait. This is married to the Precision Roll sole which has a technical Vibram Mont outsole with bi-density PU cushioning, giving a much more natural feel and walking motion.

Focus

UPPER

Perwanger 2.5mm water-repellent suede upper + water-repellent microfibre inserts. Sock-Fit XT construction system that wraps around the foot like a sock. Protective rand in PU on the outside to increase lightness and rubber on the inside and on the toe for greater protection. The upper construction together with the sole ensures maximum precision and durability, supporting and cushioning the foot. Laminated upper with HDry® technology for greater comfort and waterproofing.

LACING

The Speed fastening system uses small bi-component parts in lightweight steel and plastic. The fastening that extends towards the toe is divided into two sections. The lower part with eyelets allows the laces to pass through smoothly and adjust the fit in a single movement. The upper section has a lace lock that divides the fastening tension areas and hooks to progressively wrap the ankle securely.

LINING

Laminated with HDry® and 37.5® fabric technology for greater breathability and waterproofing, and therefore comfort.

SOLE

Precision Tech Roll sole designed by SCARPA and developed in collaboration with Vibram®, the result is a lightweight, cushioned, technical sole. The Vibram® Mont rubber compound ensures stability and durability. Compatible with semi-automatic crampons.

INSOLE

Pro Fibre Roll is an anatomical and structural footbed made of polypropylene and fibreglass, featuring differentiated thicknesses. Lightweight and equipped with varying levels of anti-torsion stiffness, it ensures maximum performance, stability, and comfort.

Dynamic Tech Roll System

The innovative construction system that integrates upper and sole into a single structure, designed to provide an ergonomic fit and optimal synergy in performance. The use of different materials, selected for their lightness and innovation, improves overall performance, increases comfort, and ensures excellent anti-torsion efficiency.

SockFit XT

Scarpa reinterprets the concept of functionality, agility and comfort by creating innovative construction systems that wrap the foot like a sock, offering the feeling of being at one with their footwear. In the SockFit XT system, the tongue and Flex Point are made of a single piece of technical stretch fabric: durable, breathable and water- resistant.

IT CAN BE RESOLED

HDRY

Thanks to the high quality standards of HDry®, the footwear made with this system provides excellent performance in terms of waterproofing, breathability and thermal insulation. The waterproof, breathable membrane is solidly bonded to the inner surface of the upper, sealing every seam and eliminating spaces between the lining and upper where water could infiltrate. This system prevents rain, snow, and cold from entering, keeping the inner surface dry and creating a stable microclimate by retaining air between the foot and the upper. The ultra-thin membrane and special lamination method ensure an ergonomic and lightweight fit, providing extended comfort throughout the day.

Mont

Developed to optimize performance in mountaineering and used successfully in the ascent of the world's highest peaks. Vibram® Mont compound ensures maximum reliability in extreme terrain and low temperatures and features high hardness, a key feature to ensure maximum compatibility with ice and snow crampons.
