Description

The Ribelle Run Kalibra G is the trail running shoe for mixed terrain and extreme conditions, when cold, snow and mud demand greater protection and enhanced reliability. Suitable for medium-distance training, in winter or in summer on softer, more technical mountain terrain. The cutting-edge features of this shoe are the Wrap360 Lace System, developed in collaboration with BOA®, that allows a complete wrapping of the foot, both on the front and heel areas. And the first time that Polartec Windbloc fabric has been used in a shoe and provides unparalleled protection from the elements yet retains a high level of breathability.

UPPER

The inner upper, where there is the lacing system, is made of a light and breathable mesh, reinforced by a microfibre structure and a TPU film.The design of this shoes is featured with the iconic Ribelle TPU rand, that wraps the entire shoe, protecting it.

GAITER

KALIBRA GAITER designed for maximising protection from wind, rain and cold temperatures, is made of a polyurethane membrane, Polartec® Windbloc®, closed by a water repellent zip and a velcro strap.The special shape of this gaiter, provides more durability to the shoes, protecting the foot from abrasions.3M reflective film for running in the dark..

LACING

The foot is completely wrapped up without any pressure points, thanks to Wrap360 which was developed in collaboration with BOA®. The core of this system is the BOA® Fit System featuring the Li2 dial which provides a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions, improving stability and control on technical terrain.

SOLE

PRESA® TRN-04 is a sole dedicated to techincal trails, where grip and precision are essential requirements. The 5 mm deep arrow lugs designed for the maximum performance on snow and mud, are the most important aspect of the sole design. Their position creates a series of self-cleaning channels. The outsole compound is SUPERGUM W, high preforming in winter conditions, it assures grip on iced terrain and snow.

The upper construction system developed by SCARPA, a company that has always been a synonym for innovation and reliability. The lateral protections, made by inserts or heat-sealing, are integrated directly into the structure of the upper, forming an exoskeleton whose function is to support and contain the foot laterally.

A thermoregulating membrane designed to maintain a constant body temperature while ensuring excellent breathability and insulating the foot from both cold and heat. This is made possible by the combination of two technologies: an insulating felt layer and a reflective aluminum film that retains the foot's warmth inside the footwear.

Polartec Power Shield® Pro

Weather protection shell fabric technology. The highly durable and breathable structure is PFAS-free and offers waterproof and breathable protection. Its 48% plant-based content lowers carbon footprint by up to 50% and reduces reliance on fossil fuels without impacting on human food sources (compared with virgin Nylon-6,6).
