Callum Johnson

Callum is a Scottish climber and mountaineer whose passion lies in adventurous traditional climbing, winter climbing and exploratory expeditions. Equally at home on sea cliffs, mountain crags and remote alpine walls, he is drawn to committing objectives where success depends on judgement, teamwork and self-reliance rather than difficulty alone.

Alongside pushing standards on Scottish winter and traditional routes, Callum has established first ascents in the Indian Himalaya and the mountains of southern Greenland, where his team completed major new routes on one of the world's largest sea cliffs. Away from climbing, he works as a mechanical engineer in the tidal energy sector, combining a love of engineering with a passion for the natural world.
